First off, sorry about the AI slop. I just wanted quick ref and what I was digging up online, wasn’t getting me what I wanted.
These are the ones that jumped out at me for the overall shape, the black and white one feeling like it could fit the space.
Here’s some SUPER rough mockups, plus the current piece. One of the main touchups are the eyes. I was never really happy with them, to be honest. I want more shading in there. I did add some actual iridescent ones, but that might be a bit too much as this isn’t a photo piece, but more stylistic. It might feel out of place, but certainly wanting more shading in there.
I hope this makes sense with the placement. If the oct is on the inside, the crab is wrapping around the outside.
The color would be more in the richer, deeper range than a neon, so ignore the mixing of these. It was just to get the color/lines to show.
